RF nationalizes the property of companies that have left countries

A list of almost 60 foreign companies that have ceased their activities in the country was sent to the government and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation. According to experts, their property can be nationalized. Various departments are involved in the work on expanding this list. Appropriate procedures will be carried out with respect to foreign companies. Proceedings for each company may end with the arrest of bank accounts and assets, as well as the nationalization of its property. Earlier, “United Russia” proposed to consider the issue of nationalization of property owned by foreign companies. We are talking about those companies that, due to the events in Ukraine, suspended their activities in the Russian Federation. This will save jobs at the enterprises of these companies and will support the Russian economy, which is under unprecedented external pressure. Washington has already reacted to this Russian initiative, promising to punish the country for it.
