Brexit could commence without a deal, Sajid Javid says
The United Kingdom would be able to leave the European Union on October 31st without a deal despite laws demanding a Brexit delay from the Prime Minister if there was no agreement. This is what Finance Minister Sajid Javid had said on Monday.
When asked if a no-deal Brexit was possible, Javid said “Yes, it is. It’s not our preferred outcome. We are working incredibly hard to get the deal by October 31,” he said “But if we do not manage to do that, we still need to leave the EU on that date – we cannot have any more dither and delay, and we will leave if we have to, without a deal, on October 31.”
