Alrosa will temporarily not publish monthly sales data
The Russian company Alrosa, engaged in the exploration, production and sale of diamonds, has announced the suspension of the publication of monthly reports on sales of rough and polished diamonds. The changed conditions explain the temporary cessation of informing about the results of their monthly activities against the backdrop of exacerbation of geopolitical risks. This week, the Russian diamond producer planned to publish its report for the previous month in the media. However, now he is forced not to do so. An Alrosa spokesman told reporters that a return to regular reporting would be made known in the future. It is reported that the enterprise mines 95% of the total volume of diamonds mined in the Russian Federation. It accounts for 27% of the world’s production volume. Alrosa finished last year with sales of $4.169 billion.
